Math Bee Info and Practice Tests

K-5th grade mental math

We wanted to run a number sense test but didn't want to leave out the youngers, so we are creating some mental math tests for them.

Since the bee is early in the year, the student should take the test of the level they finished last year:
These are just examples of the problems that will be on the test. The actual competition will have 20 questions and 20 minutes to finish.

      *6th graders can choose 5th grade test or number sense.

Number Sense

Number Sense is a Texas UIL mental math competition.  It consists of an 80 question, 10 minute test, where all problems must be solved without any notes (mental math). There are a number of resources for this so feel free to search around. Below are some good links to start with.
