Brazos Valley Co-op

Brazos Valley Co-op is a Christian organization that meets each Friday, September thru April, and offers affordable academic and enrichment classes for homeschoolers K-12 such as art, PE, the sciences, writing, literature, guitar, dance, Basketball Skills, Intro to Logic, Public Speaking, Health, Geometry Proofs & Constructions, poetry, Spanish, Legos in Action, Fairy Tale STEM, Latin, Math Madness, and new this year BVC Pre-school! We have all of these and much, much more! BVC is unique in that we you may leave your child at co-op during the day and enjoy some time on your own. Classical Conversations

Classical Conversations provides support and equipping for those desiring to home educate in the Christian classical model. Programs range from Pre-K to sixth grade, and 7th through 12th, with availability varying at each of Waco's three campuses. Each program meets for community one day a week. The primary students practice memory work and enjoy art and science projects together with parents and tutors. The junior high and high school students engage in conversation surrounding the six subject areas, as well as enjoy labs and presentations, accompanied by a tutor.

F3 Co-op

F3 is a true co-op that is VERY affordable with great experienced teachers and encouraging, supportive classes. We meet on Tuesdays from 9:20-2:40 and have room for birth to 12th grade. We are a fantastic way to stay accountable for science, socialize, and bless one another. Our co-op is for students birth to 12th grade.

High School Mock Trial Team

The Waco Homeschool Mock Trial team was founded in 2016 to compete annually in the Region 12 Mock Trial Tournament held each February in Waco.  The prevailing team in that competition is invited to compete in the state tournament held in Dallas during the first week of March.  This team is coached by Christopher Taylor and Michael Bourland, who try to maintain a loving and Christ-centered environment for students to learn basic tools of communication and more complex skills of trial advocacy.  The competition rules limit the number of team members, and there is very limited  availability for this year’s team, but if you are interested in the program for your child, or you have any questions at all, please contact Christopher Taylor at 644-7220 or

Royal Rangers and Girl's Ministries Outpost #1

SHINE Christian Homeschool Co-op

SHINE Christian Homeschool Co-op meets in Gatesville on Thursday afternoons for 10 weeks each semester and offers educational and supplemental classes ranging from art, dance, and choir, P.E., gymnastics, and Taekwondo, and an assortment of science, math, history, and elective classes. Membership is open to all local homeschooling families whose oldest child is at least three years old. Youth Chorus of Central Texas

Baylor University Piano Lab

The Baylor Piano Lab Program offers group and private piano instruction to first- and second-graders without prior piano instruction. It is taught by graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in piano pedagogy courses at Baylor, and all group and private teaching is supervised by the director of piano pedagogy, Dr. Lesley McAllister. The first-year class meets on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 p.m. All classes meet in Waco Hall on the Baylor campus. Registration is limited to only ten participants each year and the program typically has a two-year wait list, so parents are encouraged to enroll their child at the pre-kindergarten age.

JSOD offers morning ballet, tap and jazz classes for Homeschooled students! Classes for students in grades 3 - 5 are on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 - noon and classes students in grades K - 2 are on Thursday mornings from 10:30 - noon. Baylor String Project

The Baylor String Project offers low-cost class instruction on stringed instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass) to local 3rd-12th graders by Baylor Undergraduate student teachers. Our classes meet on the Baylor campus from 4:15-5:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum offers tours, day camps and special programs promoting the history of the legendary law enforcement agency.  Available Monday thru Friday by reservation, program topics include Texas and United States History, Crime Scene Investigation and Art Appreciation.

Waco Foundation’s MAC College Money Program serves McLennan County students to ensure all students have the opportunity to earn a college degree regardless of financial situation by assisting all students with completing the federal financial aid application and awarding grants and scholarships to students.

The mission of REACH Therapeutic Riding Center is to improve the health, increase the confidence, and promote the independence of persons with special needs through the use of horses. In addition to offering services for both children and adults with special needs, REACH also has a Horses for Warriors program for veterans in the community, an Equine Facilitated Learning program for youth who are at-risk, and an Equine Assisted Counseling program to address mental health needs.
