FREE BOOKS! FREE BOOKS! FREE BOOKS! Reach for the Stars Form - Please note that only pages 3 and 4 need to be printed. It's not too late! Only 300 minutes to FREE books with Reach for the Stars Read-a-thon! There is still time to join the fun! Just print out your reading log. You have until the end of April to round up your sponsors and complete your reading. You may turn in your forms and money at the April GWCHE meeting. Winners of the 10 day Reading Challenge and the Sponsorship Contest will be notified to pick an additional $20 in books. All books should be in by the middle of May. Please contact the coordinator for further info or with any questions at rfts@gwche.org. Reach for the Stars is a fantastic read-a-thon that will reward your child with free books while providing books for our library as well as funds for our activities. It's so simple! Your child pledges to read for 200 minutes between the March and April meetings and collects sponsors who believe in the value of encouraging reading in education. Of the money collected, your child will receive 50% back in free books from Usborne, a company recommended by many homeschooling programs. GWCHE receives 30% in cash and 20% in books.
